East Africa: Circling Lake VictoriaEast Africa. Mountain gorillas in Rwanda were the main destination. Seanie Blue traveled with fotografer Steve Correl to Nairobi to try to get into the gorilla habitat in Rwanda. The travels for this particular trip originally called for a self-guided Serengeti safari, and then a trip overland to Uganda and Rwanda to visit the gorilla. Blue and Correl never banked on having to hitch on the southern side of Lake Victoria, from Kigali through Tanzania back to Nairobi, and that trip by 18-wheel truck made the entire journey one of the most unusual travels Blue and Correl undertook.
